Roseville Design District Event Recap

This past weekend was incredibly meaningful to the Select Surfaces team. Along with a few of our local partners, we hosted our inaugural Roseville Design District Event! If you couldn’t stop by to visit or aren’t sure what we’re talking about, here’s the scoop: our new Fairview Avenue showroom location has become a design hot-spot. Essentially, a lot of quality showrooms and design businesses have all planted their roots within proximity of each other in Roseville. We’ve all decided to band together to cultivate this exciting new remodeling hub!

Our fellow event hosts included The Shower Door Place, The Tile Shop, Fireside Hearth & Home, and Muska Lighting. We are proud to serve our community and empower remodelers and contractors with these fantastic small businesses! From installers to owners, the entire Select Surfaces crew was on-hand to host this busy, fun, and educational event.

Over the weekend we offered a class covering current color and style trends in surfacing design. The Tile Shop presented a demo installation of a wet-wall product called Wedi. Fireside Hearth & Home spoke about the ease of converting a wood burning fireplace with a gas insert. The Shower Door Place covered the benefits of using a frameless glass shower door or tub surround. And, Muska Lighting taught about the difference in the color and feel between an LED bulb versus conventional options.

Our event highlights were Roseville’s Mayor, Dan Roe, making time to attend our ribbon cutting ceremony and seeing everyone support our local small business community. Seeing all of these people invest in this idea means the world to us, and we’re only growing from here. Several visitors and trade professionals remarked they had no idea so many showrooms were in the area; we’re happy to get the word out!

Thank you to everyone who visited, and if you couldn’t make it, please browse anytime! Relive more of the day’s fun and festivities in the images below.
