Meet the Dynamic Duo of Happy Interiors Group.

Abby Tallman is the lead designer/owner of HIG. She has a strong passion for design and loves! what she does. Abby strives to meet every client’s wants and needs when it comes to their room or entire home. Her creativity and driven personality make it possible for her to create quality and aesthetically pleasing designs. With Abby’s diverse set of design skills and great deal of insight in both the residential and commercial fields, she can tackle any project big or small. When she’s not designing, Abby enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and continuing the renovation of her fixer-upper home.

Guilty pleasures: She wouldn’t turn down a glass of Prosecco, a cupcake of any kind, and someday wants to adopt a french bulldog.

Amy Mathie is the operations director/owner of HIG. She provides exceptional behind-the- scenes support during each phase of the design process to ensure an enjoyable experience for each client. She has solid relationships with vendors worldwide and works diligently with them to meet the needs and budget of your project. When she’s not burried in paperwork (which she admittedly enjoys) she’s using her graphic design background to create a social media following. Amy enjoys traveling, socalizing with freinds/fellow designers and of course her beloved siamese Phoebe. Who is often sitting on her desk as she’s typing up orders.

Guilty pleasures: She wouldn’t pass up an ice cold beer, chips and salsa, or a trip to the casino (or even better), Vegas.

Project Feature: Remodel in downtown Mpls!

Happy Interiors Group recently completed a kitchen renovation in a condo in downtown Mpls. The goal was to create a streamlined, modern design with a bright white and grey color palette. Although the design is simple, the waterfall edge makes the space feel very luxurious.
We chose a Cambria countertop for its distinct bold pattern to make the waterfall edges really stand out while keeping with the subtle color palette. With the level of craftsmanship Select Surfaces offers, we knew they could execute this install flawlessly for us. The durable and easy to care for work surface was the perfect choice for our client’s needs.
