What We’ve Been Up To: Commercial Projects

Throughout 2018, we featured some of our favorite client projects, industry events, team moments, and showroom updates on this blog. However, we realized that we hadn’t written much about another large section of our work, commercial projects.

We love meeting families and improving their homes, but there’s something special about commercial projects. It’s fun imagining the variety of people who will interact with our work in any given business – from golfers practicing their swing to studying college students to families visiting the YMCA.

We had the distinct pleasure of installing surfaces in the following commercial spaces recently:

  • Sherburne Country Government Center – Elk River, MN
  • Edina Realty – Rochester, MN
  • Carbone’s Pizza – St. Paul, MN
  • Top Golf – Brooklyn Center, MN
  • Capella Tower – 18th Floor, Downtown Minneapolis, MN
  • Bakken Young Funeral Home – New Richmond, WI
  • Lakeville YMCA – Lakeville, MN
  • Audi of St. Paul – St. Paul, MN
  • Bethel University Econ Department – Arden Hills, MN
  • Metropolitan Center for Independent Living – St. Paul, MN
  • Lilydale Pool and Yacht Club –  St. Paul, MN
  • Gardener Office Expansion – Downtown Minneapolis, MN
  • MN Gastroenterology Corporate Office – Downtown Minneapolis, MN

Experience Excellence in Surfacing

Select surfaces installed a beautiful piece of Cambria for our basement remodel. After only a couple months of completion we had to move our cabinets out from the walls where the septic pipe had been leaking and had moved along the inside of the wall. Needless to say Select Surfaces had to come out and take off our beautiful Cambria that now was attached to a stone/glass backsplash. I thought for sure I would have to replace the bottom layer of the backsplash as there was no way they could take it off without chipping or ruining something. Only a tiny corner of 1 inch cube of glass tile was chipped and they were super apologetic. You could not even see it unless you got up super close to inspect. They reinstalled the Cambria and it looked as perfect as it did the first time. Highly impressed!!!
